NURTURING CREATIVITY IN ARTS

“Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.”Scott Adams

ABOUT
The Rowen Art Group was founded by the Women’s Institute in the late 1950’s and has been based in the village of Rowen, near Conwy, ever since.

We are a group of local amateur painters who seek, individually and collectively, to develop and improve our artistic skills under the guidance of our Tutor, David Weaver.

We meet on Wednesday mornings at the Rowen Memorial Hall, LL32 8YP.

We also hold occasional full-day workshops hosted by invited professional artists to explore new themes and techniques.

Our annual exhibition in July celebrates our year’s effort and allows us to bring our work to a wider audience.

We welcome new members - please use this link to get started.
